Call for papers – Phosphorus

PHOSPHORUS (Concordia’s undergraduate philosophy journal) is currently seeking submissions for its first edition in Spring 2010. All areas of philosophy will be considered. Students specializing in areas other than philosophy are welcome to submit, provided that the work is of a philosophical nature and meets the following criteria:

1.    Papers should be no longer than 5000 words
2.    Include an abstract of 150-500 words
3.    Citations must appear at the end of the document in the MLA style
4.    Submissions must be sent electronically to the email address below (preferred file formats – .doc, .rtf, .txt)
5.    Submissions must include a cover sheet with the following information: name, title, university, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and word count
6.    The author’s name should not appear on the paper itself, to facilitate ‘blind’ review
7.    French and English submissions are accepted; papers will be published in their original language

Deadline for submissions is FEBRUARY 8TH, 2010
